Beach Body!

I have officially joined the Beach Body team! I can't wait to get my hands on my Shakeology shakes and new PiYo workout! For now I will be running my but off and attending my yoga classes to kick start my weight loss!  I will also begin the Insanity DVD to SUPER jump start myself in a workout.  I can't wait to safe this experience with all of you! 

There are so many different types of fitness and nutrition programs that Beach Body offers, including, Insanity, P90X, PiYo, Shakeology, and Ultimate Reset.

Craftastic Tuesday


Well, here it is! The first of many 'Craftastic Tuesday' posts! So excited for the blog to start putting things together for the readers! This will be perfect for the holiday season.  Most of the crafts I post will be low cost..we're talking $20 and under! Does it get any more perfect?

Todays Craft: BOTTLE OPENERS

Perfect gifts for any man in your life.  I'm doing these for my boyfriend's Dad and my Uncle.  They do a lot of work out in their garage which is also where they keep their stash of brews!


Wood Base: FREE. had at home, cut piece from a pallet.

Mason Jar: FREE. had at home, can find sets at any Target or Walmart though for under $10.  They usually come in sets.

Hose Clamp: $4.00 (Lowes)  

Stain: FREE. Left over at the house.

PROJECT TOTAL: $11.00













1. Stain the Wood 

2. Add any designs you may like.  We used a paint marker to stencil their initials.

3. Screw the bottle opener to the wood.  We used a drill to make it go quicker!

4. Screw the hose clamp to the piece of wood.

5. Place mason jar in hose clamp.

Work it Wednesday

New things are coming to Pretty and Fit, every Wednesday I will be posting a new workout! Along with that every Tuesday will be a "Craftastic Tuesday".  With the holidays coming these posts will be super helpful for those who are lost in what to get for friends and family!

Anyways, todays workout was all legs.  They're feeling like jello after today's workout!

1. 10 min. of the Stair climber
2. Crunches 30x3 
(no weight)
3. Bicycles 20x4 
(no weight)
4. Glute Machine 13x3 
(55 lbs)
5. Squats 10x3 
(95 lbs)
6. Plie Squats 12x4 
(no weight)
7. Leg Lifts 10x3 
(no weight)

Normally, after my workouts I would add in some more cardio whether it be a HIIT workout on the treadmill, or a bicycle workout.

Starting Monday Right!

Well, today I started my week right with a leg workout before work!
It was killer, I added some abs and TINY bit of cardio in it too! 
I haven't been to the gym in a long time so my weights that I had lifted were a bit smaller than they used to be unfortunately but we'll get there!

Workout:
20 sec. Hollow Hold
10 Leg Lifts
30 sec. Plank Hold
10 Leg Lifts
20 Oblique Crunches (Each Side)

Repeat Circuit 2 times.

15 min. 3.5 mph at 5 inline

15 Squats with Smith Machine 95 lbs
*2 Sets

10 Deadlifts with Smith Machine 95 lbs
*3 Sets

20 Leg Press 50 lbs
*2 Sets

15 Hamstring Curls with Yoga Ball
*2 Sets

10 min. Walking at 3.5 mph
